MORSE to compete in Imedghassen

Ronak Jafari’s second short film, MORSE, would be a part of International Competition Category at the 3^rd Imedghassen Film Festival (May 10^th to 14^th, 2023 / Algeria).

Inspired by tragic death of Khosro Golsorkhi, Iranian leftist poet, journalist and activist who was executed in 1974 and the broadcasting of his trial shook a nation, MORSE follows a meeting of three comrades of an executed cellmate, his wife and a medium, searching for Judas in THE LAST SUPPER setting. Jafari and DOP Masoud Salami have gone through a big venture in shooting with the candle lights to revive a sense of painting in the film images.
