WIND OF CHANGE in UCLA Program

Abbas Rafei’s new film, WIND OF CHANGE, would be a part of the upcoming edition of UCLA Celebration of Iranian Cinema and will be screened in Billy Wilder Theatre at Hammer Museum on Saturday, May 13^th, 2023.

WIND OF CHANGE is the strange story of a woman waking up at home one morning to see her husband’s gone missing. During her searching and then building up a new life with her teenage daughter, she comes to know that there are secrets which are not to be revealed and there are places for women to be considered guilty in the traditional societies.

Enhanced by Narges Mohammadi’s performance as the central character, the film depicts how the women, disconnected from their society, have no choice but confiding in each other from time to time.
