Director’s View:
With a humanistic approach to the importance of the people, forgotten in the labyrinths of time and being, the film focuses on the human values as well as the creativity and the identity of the individuals.
Director’s Profile:
Born in Tehran in 1976, Arman Zarrinkoob is best known as creator and producer of some of the most popular Iranian TV series – such as “Setayesh” which gained public acclaim in three seasons in the period of 2009-19.
After studying Managerial Economics, Zarrinkoob started his film and TV career as short film director in 1998. Then he made some awareness raising contents on AIDS and addiction. Eventually he gained the public attention when entered Iranian TV as producer and creator of crowd pleasing series which were aired times and times again.
Zarrinkoob made a TV Movie, “Accordion”, in 1995, which earned the Best Director nomination and the Best Actress Award at Urban FF. In 2023, he made his debut feature film, WALTZ FOR THREE.
