THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE SUGAR CANES in CMS 2024

Ebrahim Ashrafpour’s debut feature film, THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE SUGAR CANES, will participate in World Cinema section at the 13^th edition of CMS, International Children’s Film Festival (April 15^th to 23^rd, 2024 / Lucknow, India).

Depicting a world of high hopes ruined by the harsh realities of life, focusing on the sad stories of the families of the arrested protesters and highlighting the struggles of the working class today, THE WIND… has been already screened at Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People 2022 (Greek Film Critics Association Award), Dhaka International Film Festival 2023 (Cinema of World Section), Universal Kids Film Festival 2023 (Official Selection) and Hof International Film Festival 2023 (Films as a Catalyst for Change: Politics, Social Issues and the Environment).
