PAKOL goes to Sama IFF 2024
Navid Esmaeili’s second feature film, PAKOL, will be a part of the official program in the 15th Sama International Film Festival (October 19th to 20th, 2024 / Stockholm, Sweden).
Depicted as a long journey into the darkness surrounding a stolen immigrant Afghan girl, PAKOL is some kind of a road movie, shot in a very naturalistic way with some dreamy touches when flashing back to the childhood memories.
The film was premiered in the main competition of Asian Film Festival Barcelona 2023.
