Three IRIMAGE Titles in the competition of Asia Pacific Screen Awards

Reza Mirkarimi’s CASTLE OF DREAMS, Rasoul Sadrameli’s MY SECOND YEAR IN COLLEGE and Reza Gouran’s REPRESSION are officially invited to the Competition of Feature Films of Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2019.

Due to the festival triumphs, CASTLE OF DREAMS and MY SECOND YEAR IN COLLEGE are already recognized in the festival circuit, but it is the first international event for REPRESSION which is recently released in Iran.

REPRESSION which reveals the real pain in the contemporary Iran is praised for its ambitious view to the medium, dramatic richness in the narrative, women power cast leading the film, and the complicated mise-en-scene in front of the fluid movements of the camera searching for the hidden truth all through the way.
