THE BLUE GIRL to compete in Festival International du film pour enfants de Montréal
In FIFEM 2021 (Festival International du film pour enfants de Montréal), Keivan Majidi’s THE BLUE GIRL is included in the competitive section.
Majidi’s debut feature film, THE BLUE GIRL is a surprising docudrama reflecting the same motivations which led to the formation of New Iranian Cinema. The authenticity of film is resonated with the breathtakingly beautiful landscapes of Kurdistan and constant usage of Kurdish language and Kurdish people behind and in front of the camera. The film has been already screened in a number of events such as Zlin Film Festival, Dhaka International Film Festival and Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival.
Due to the pandemic, the 24th edition of this Canadian film event will be held as an online film festival from February 27th to March 7th, 2021.
