Best DOP Award goes to THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE SUGAR CANES in Within the Family FF 2024
In the 19th edition of Within the Family International Festival of Family and Children’s Films (July 6th to 10th, 2024 / Yroslavl, Russia), Hamid Dalvand wins the Best DoP Award in Children’s Film Competition for his work in Ebrahim Ashrafpour’s debut feature, THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE SUGAR CANES.
The film has previously participated in Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People 2022 (Greek Film Critics Association Award), Dhaka International Film Festival 2023 (Cinema of World Section), Universal Kids Film Festival 2023 (Official Selection), Hof International Film Festival 2023 (Films as a Catalyst for Change: Politics, Social Issues and the Environment) and CMS, International Children’s Film Festival 2024 (Official Selection).
