Four Films at Guwahati IFF 2022
In the 14th edition of International Guwahati Film Festival (February 25th to March 3rd, 2022 / India), the oldest International Film Festival in North East of India, organized by Gauhati Cine Club, four IRIMAGE films are to be presented:
BANDAR BAND, Manijeh Hekmat’s highly acclaimed film, winner of the main award at Kolkata IFF 2021 and official selection of Toronto, Zurich, Melbourne, etc. – as the closing film of the festival.
DROWN, Mohammad Kart’s debut feature film, which won five awards (including the Audience Award) in Fajr National Film Festival, Special Jury Prize – Best Foreign Language Film Category in Wales International Film Festival, Best Actor and Best Actress Awards in Loudoun Arts Film Festival, Best Script Award in Barcelona Asian Film Festival and Best Actor Award in Slemani International Film Festival.
THE DOGS DIDN’T SLEEP LAST NIGHT, Ramin Rasouli’s second film, main competition entry in International Film Festival of India – Goa and winner of the Interfaith Prize in Fajr International Film Festival.
THE BLUE GIRL, Keivan Majidi’s first film, winner of In the Spirit of Peace Award and official selection of Zlin, FIFEM, Giffoni, Sguardi Altrove, etc.
