MOTHERLESS Wins the Top Award at Dhaka IFF 2023

In its international premiere, Morteza Fatemi’s debut feature film, MOTHERLESS, wins the Best Film Award in the Asian Competition, the main competitive section of the 21^st Dhaka International Film Festival (January 14^th to 22^nd, 2023 / Bangladesh).

MOTHERLESS, a tale of the provocative moral ambiguity, focuses on the vulnerability of its characters when trying to avoid the change in their lives. Enhanced by the bravura perfs, the film is resonated in its impressive imagery, depicting the characters trapped in the webs spun by them.
