THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE SUGAR CANES to compete in Salam 2024

Ebrahim Ashrafpour’s debut feature film, THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE SUGAR CANES, is a part of the main competitive program in the 4^th edition of International Children’s and Youth Film Festival “SALAM” (August 26^th to 30^th, 2024 / Baku, Azerbaijan).

The film has been previously screened at Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People 2022 (Greek Film Critics Association Award), Dhaka International Film Festival 2023 (Cinema of World Section), Universal Kids Film Festival 2023 (Official Selection), Hof International Film Festival 2023 (Films as a Catalyst for Change: Politics, Social Issues and the Environment), CMS, International Children’s Film Festival 2024 (Official Selection) and Within the Family International Festival of Family and Children’s Films 2024 (Best DoP Award – International Children’s Films Competition).
